About Amy
Amy Jacques, MS Ed., CPC, ELI-MP, CLDS, CTDS

Before becoming a certified professional coach (CPC), Amy was an adult education coordinator, a parent educator, and a school counselor for 24 years. She has an Associate’s degree in Marketing (1987) and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Business Education (1989); both are from Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island. Later she earned her Master’s in Counselor Education from Western Connecticut State University (2002).
Amy is married to Jim, for over 30 years and she has two adult children in their late 20s and early 30s. She also has a fur baby, Walt, who is a chihahua terrier mix and unfortunately not so nice to others outside of his family. We still love him! She likes kayaking, traveling, and listening to audio books. Her go-to for calming and deescalating anxiety is coloring, she says there is nothing like new brush marker pens!
She has always been a helper, and she is excited to take all she has learned from the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), an accredited school for life coaching, and couple it with her experience as a counselor. She creates a safe place for adults and teens to do attend to their journey. She works on any life transition and self-awareness growth with her adult client community. And for her teens she offers connection and coaching around the plethora of social and emotional experiences they face. Amy wants both her adult and teen cliental to not only focus on who they are but also, who they are becoming. She wants to share how the impact of their energy creates the paths for moving forward, as can revisiting values and becoming aware of what is getting in their way.
